Full time salesperson required to join our busy showroom team!
We are a family run business located in rural Hertfordshire with a modern and well stocked showroom. We carry many premium brands of garden machinery in stock and supply new and used equipment, accessories and spare parts to private individuals through to nationwide grounds maintenance contractors.
Requirements
The ideal applicant for this role should
- Excel in a people-facing role
- Have existing product knowledge, and/or the drive to learn new product areas quickly
- Work well as part of a team
- Be able to work on their own initiative
- Be punctual and reliable
- Have good telephone manner and be confident using a computer/point-of-sale display
- Be willing to ask questions and be open to learning
We will consider applicants from outside the Horticultural Machinery sector, and will provide training to the right candidate.
Desirable Attributes
The ideal candidate would have experience in horticultural machinery sales with the following skills –
- Experience with sales of new and used machinery
- Experience with sales of accessories and spare parts
- Creation of new sales leads from cold call & site visits
- Maintenance of showroom displays
- Support the marketing team with ideas and content
