The EGO ETA0400E is a 10cm diameter earth auger bit for use with the EGO Power+ auger power head (PHA7400E).
Ten centimetres is the most useful size for general garden work – standard fence posts, plant and tree supports, and bulk bulb planting all sit comfortably in a hole this size, and the smaller diameter means faster boring and less load on the power head than the larger bits.
For deeper holes, add the ABE2000 50cm auger bit extension. The power head and battery are not included.
