It uses a buried perimeter wire rather than the AURA-R2's wire-free system, which keeps the price down considerably at the cost of a one-off installation. Rain detection, 20-90mm cut height and app control over Bluetooth or 4G are all standard; the boundary wire is not included.
Product overview
The EGO RM2000E is a wire-guided robotic mower suited to lawns of up to 2000m2. A buried perimeter wire defines the mowing area while GPS-assisted navigation keeps coverage precise and even, and the mower docks and recharges itself between cuts.
Cutting height is adjustable from 20mm to 90mm to suit the season and the type of grass. Rain detection pauses work in wet conditions, and the IPX5-rated body is built to live outdoors. Scheduling, cutting height and progress are all controlled from the EGO app over Bluetooth or 4G. It will handle gradients of up to 50%.
Supplied with the docking station and power supply. The perimeter boundary wire is not included and must be ordered separately or fitted as part of an installation.
