The EGO BA2240E is a 4.0Ah 56V ARC Lithium battery with 224Wh of energy in a single-parallel (1P) cell configuration, and replaces the outgoing BA2240T.
4.0Ah is the most useful capacity for general domestic work – enough to finish a hedge, a strim or a small lawn without a battery change, but without the weight of the 6.0Ah and larger packs on a tool you are holding at arm’s length. Like all EGO ARC Lithium batteries it fits the entire 56V range, so it moves between mower, trimmer and blower without adapters.
This generation adds IoT connectivity, reporting state of charge and battery health to the EGO app so you can see what is ready to use before you walk out to the shed.
