Vacancy – Workshop Mechanic

Full time mechanic required to join our busy workshop team.

We are a family run business located in rural Hertfordshire and have modern workshop facilities with up to date tools and diagnostic equipment.
We service and repair garden and grounds maintenance machinery to include everything from the smallest battery powered hedge trimmer to the largest Diesel compact tractors and ride-on cylinder mowers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate would have experience in the horticultural machinery service industry and will have knowledge in the following areas –

• 2 – stroke engine fault finding, diagnostic and repair
• 4 – stroke engine fault finding, diagnostic and repair
• Lithium-ion powered equipment fault finding, diagnostic and repair
• Diesel engine fault finding, diagnostic and repair
• 12V electrical fault finding, diagnostic and repair
• Hydraulic system fault finding, diagnostic and repair
• Fabrication & welding

We will consider applicants from outside the Horticultural machinery sector and training will be provided to the right candidate.
